  FANTASTIC CRUISE TRANSFER - We celebrated my 60th with a 4 night stay in Florence followed by a transatlantic cruise leaving from Rome [Civitavecchia]. As we took a train from Florence to Rome -... read more we wanted a first class vehicle and driver to collect us from the station in Rome and drop us at the ship. After exhaustive checking and review reading - we selected ROME AIRPORTER. What a great decision. Our smartly dressed driver was waiting for us at the appointed spot, grabbed the luggage and led us to a super clean e-class MB and we glided over to Civitavecchia directly to the gaping maw of the Celebrity BEYOND.   Excellent experience- highly recommend! - We had a very tight time frame to get from the Civitavecchia cruise port to the FCO airport. I wasn't sure exactly what time we would be allowed... read more off the ship so I reached out to the company to make sure they'd be there early and then wait if we were delayed. I communicated with them on 3 different occasions and each time they responded quickly and reassured me the driver and the van will be there waiting for us with a sign. He was there, right next to the ship, the sign was clear and easy to spot. The van comfortably held all of us (6 adults) and ALL our 6 large pieces of luggage and 6 carry ons.
The price is reasonable and was less expensive than if we used the transfer from the cruise company. We paid approx. $50 pp. Cruise wanted $75 pp and who knows how long we would have had to wait until the bus was filled up. We were off the ship at 6:30am and on our way to the airport by 6:35.
The driver, Matteo, was a lovely gentleman, polite and helpful.
I seldom write reviews but compelled to write this one. Traveling is stressful, especially with tight timeframes. Our experience with this company could not have been any better!

Our driver parked... read more really close, came to meet us and helped transfer luggage from the hotel to the van. He neatly stowed all our luggage in the van. We had a great trip to the port. The driver delivered us to an area where we could eas8ly transfer our bags to the ship’s personnel so we really didn’t have to handle them again. I whole heartedly recommend this business and will definitely use them again if luck enough to be in Rome again.
